Our Coven Mother, Lisa Hansen has updated the TwilightMOMs Site Rules for easier reading. Please take a moment to check them out.

Forum Rules
*Membership Requirements*
You must be age 21 or older, or
You must be married, or
You must be a parent

1. TwilightMOMS Administrators are the only members authorized to speak on behalf of TwilightMOMS.com

2. BALANCE!!!
Limit your time on the computer so your loved ones and daily responsibilities don’t get neglected.

3. Make your first post in “Introduce Yourself”

4. Keep “net speak” to a bare minimum.
We are fans of grammar and spelling.

5. Avoid duplicating topics.
Review the forums before posting a new topic.

6. No character bashing.
This is a site for FANS of Stephenie Meyer, her stories and creations.

7. No discussions about celebrities’ personal lives.

8. No Role Playing

9. Fanfics may be shared by link only and in the designated forum only.

10. No Online Petitions.
TwilightMOMS.com does not promote ANY online petitions no matter what they are for.

11. Be Nice!
We’re bringing women with common interests together and this is meant to be a positive uplifting place.
Think twice before you take offense by something said to you.
Don’t bash others!
Just chill… yo! Keep this forum a positive and fun place for people to interact.
Turn the other cheek, but report any bullying or bashing to the moderator over the area the incident took place.
Don’t use PM’s (Personal Messages) to backbite or gossip or bully.

12. No political discussions!!! None! Zero!

13. No in-depth discussions on religion!
Religious discussions may take place as they pertain to the relevance of book or movie discussions only.

14. No foul language
Keep it clean!!! Think “family-friendly”
“Damn” and “Hell” are acceptable.
Language may be no stronger than what is found in any Stephenie Meyer books.
Foul language includes all creative spellings and abbreviations, rude/off color remarks about ethnicity, religion, nationality, sexually explicit innuendos/fantasies involving real people or fictional characters, and disrespectful use of any form of Deity.

15. Pictures/Images
Keep it clean!!! Think “family-friendly”
People must be clothed
Paparazzi pics of celebrities with their families are considered inappropriate.

Guidelines for shirtless picture postings:
A. Shirtless (including front, back, or side view of a male's body from the waist up to the shoulders) is not okay to be posted in a thread, EXCEPT in the movie forums, of one of the actors, from one of the Twilight Movies, in character. Shirtless pictures of any other male are not acceptable anywhere in the forums.

B. Since we do adoptions from the movies, we DO ALLOW shirtless pictures of the actors from the Twilight Movies, in character, from a movie scene, to be used IF AND ONLY IF they are cropped at the shoulders, to be used in siggies and avatars ONLY, by all members, not just those adopting scenes (to be fair to all members), but, NOT in postings.

C. For any male picture posted in forums (not referring to movie forum exceptions): Open shirt, with nipples covered, fine to post; open shirt with nipples photoshopped out, not okay to post.

16. Sharing Links - Keep it clean!!!
Links to other websites and/or images may be posted only if the content is “family-friendly.” Linking to shirtless pictures (off site) is fine as long as they are tasteful and not lewd. Put a disclaimer in the post (i.e. shirtless link), so that someone doesn't accidentally click on it, that may not want to see it.

17. Protect Your Personal Information!
This is the INTERNET: The WORLD WIDE Web! Think First!
Anyone Anywhere at Anytime can see the content on this site including your profile information.
Do not reveal your address, phone numbers, travel plans including locations and times, etc.
If you are uncomfortable with any pictures of you or your loved ones being viewed by MANY strangers, then DO NOT post them.
Err on the side of CAUTION and COMMON SENSE.

18. Alert any Volturi Mom (Moderator) to:
Questionable content
Suspicious members (i.e. suspected teen or troll)
Include the username and forum location so it can be investigated right away.
Do not get into arguments with troublemakers. (They want the attention. Do not give them the satisfaction, it is what encourages them to continue.) Just ignore and report.
We need and appreciate your help considering the impossibly massive amount of content that the moderators try to cover in order to keep this a safe and fun place for everyone.

19. Username & Membership
The name you register with is the name you will keep so choose wisely.
To have your membership cancelled/deleted please send an email to registration@twilightmoms.com Put “Delete Membership” in the subject line of the email. No explanation is needed just be sure to include your username in the email.

20. Spoilers that break copyright laws are not allowed.
This includes links to illegal postings on other sites/blogs such as movie sides, scripts, outtakes, book drafts, etc.
When posting legal spoilers please indicate “Spoilers!” and the source in the topic line to prevent ruining it for others who don’t want to be spoiled.

21. No membership-only clubs, groups, or sororities may not conduct themselves on TwilightMOMS.
Individual groups, aside from demographic get togethers need to take their business off site.
Note: We understand the natural tendency to group together and for that group to become identified by a title or nickname. We have no problem with groups developing out of TwilightMOMS. We just ask that when the group develops, it find a place they can call their own only because of the incredible amount of work it takes to maintain a large group of people already. Taking responsibility for lots of other sub groups just adds to the workload. The owner of TwilightMOMS is just an average person, but as the owner she is ultimately responsible for all content on the forums.

22. No Advertising in links in your signature or avatar.
Advertising has a potential to get out of control and just turn into a mess of spam on a forum of our size.
Advertisements/ad links will be deleted. This includes any and all links to outside exclusive membership-only groups or sororities and links to fanfics.
ONLY Twilight and Host themed products are allowed to be advertised in a post in the Vampire and Alien Apparel & Decor forum - Nowhere else!
Vendors are allowed to have ONE (1) thread in the Vampire and Alien Apparel & Decor forum to advertise their products.

*Right To Participate*
The right to participate in discussions and post on this forum and TwilightMOMS is a privilege subject to these Rules. TwilightMOMS retains the right to deny access to anyone we believe has violated any of these Rules, whether an actual violation has occurred or not. The privilege to post and participate in this privately owned forum can be revoked at will by TwilightMOMS. We understand that the rules and restrictions imposed by this privately-owned forum and site may make some participants feel limited in expressing themselves. If you find yourself feeling limited or restricted, you are encouraged and welcome to take advantage of your right to create your own forum or web site.
NOTE: The First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution provides for Freedom of Speech. Generally speaking, this protection means the government cannot make laws infringing your right to free speech in public places. Freedom of Speech does not, however, allow you to post or say anything you want on this privately-owned forum or TwilightMOMS.com.
